Ovulation Induction
A gentle, first-line treatment that helps your ovaries release a healthy egg at the right time.

- Carefully monitored, low-intervention
- Oral or injectable protocols
- Timed with ultrasound tracking
About this treatment
Ovulation induction is often the very first step in fertility treatment. Using carefully dosed oral or injectable medication, we encourage the ovaries to develop and release a mature egg — then time intercourse, or an IUI, to your most fertile window.
It is especially helpful when cycles are irregular or absent, such as in PCOS. Throughout the cycle we track your response with ultrasound and, where needed, blood tests, adjusting the dose to grow the right number of follicles while keeping treatment safe.

Ovulation Induction — your questions
Common questions about this treatment. Anything else? Our team is happy to talk it through.
No — it's much simpler. We help your body release its own egg naturally rather than collecting eggs in the lab. It's often tried before IUI or IVF.
Because we monitor follicle growth with ultrasound, we keep the chance of high-order multiples low — adjusting or pausing a cycle if too many follicles develop.
Medication is usually taken for about five days early in your cycle, with a scan a few days later to time the fertile window. Most couples try for a few cycles.
